Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Premiere

Based on cartoon characters created by Ted Kelly in the late 50s and directed by Rob Minkoff (The Lion King), this comedy adventure gets successful combination of science fiction, a journey through History, witty dialogues and educational values.
Peabody is a dog which feels marginalized by humans. Then, he decides to study and achieve a high culture. He becomes a very intelligent being to the point that he will be allowed to adopt Sherman, an abandoned child. They will travel together, using the time machine he has invented, by those historical events that changed the course of humanity. Egypt, Troy, Renaissance Italy and the French Revolution, along with their famous characters, will be the main scenarios that the protagonists will visit. Each era includes fictitious stories explained in a humorous tone.
Both father and son also have their antagonists. During a discussion, Sherman bites Penny, a classmate. Social services have to act, and Peabody will have to prove he is a good father as well as he has to ingratiate himself with the family of the girl. Thanks to his great intelligence and talent he will get out victorious.
Nice story whose relentless pace and funny characters will entertain both children and adults.
